Want to take your diving further and equip yourself with skills to get more out of diving? By completing the Advanced Open Water course you will be certified to dive to a depth of 30m with another certified diver*. This will open up a far wider range of dive sites to you.

You will complete 5 adventure dives during this course, 2 of these will be the mandatory deep and navigation dives. The remaining 3 dives will be discussed with you and will be dependent upon your interests and the suitability of the location where the dives will be completed. Weather permitting we will complete some of the dives on the south coast so a weekend away may be required at an extra cost.

This course will develop your diving knowledge and skills enabling you to become a more confident and safer diver (as well as being a better buddy). You will learn how to prevent problems by becoming more aware of potential hazards you may encounter and will learn what to do when an emergency arises. This can be a demanding course, but it is also one of the most rewarding.

The course consists of 5 knowledge development sessions, pool sessions and rescue scenarios in open water.

Prerequisites: EFR Primary & Secondary Care or equivalent, Medical Statement*

This course teaches the basics of CPR and First Aid through a combination of knowledge development and hands on training. Whether a diver or not, this course will give you the the ability to be able to make a difference in life threatening situations.

The course is ideal for those that need to update their Primary and Secondary Care training prior to the completing the PADI Rescue Diver course.

The certificate is valid for 2 years, after which a refresher will be needed.

If you are planning a dive trip and haven't dived for more than 6 months it is good idea to take a scuba review before diving in open water, in fact some resorts may insist you do.

The course consists of a knowledge review and exam covering the theory you learned in your PADI Open Water Diver course. You will then go through the 20 basic Scuba skills with your instructor in the pool.
